Nainital is a bustling hill station that lies in the beautiful Kumaon foothills of the Outer Himalayas. The presence of an emerald lake in the heart of the town makes it a paradise for holidaymakers. This hill station has been mentioned in the Indian mythology and ancient religious texts. It is the site of a revered Shakti Peeth and has an old temple of Naina Devi on the lake's northern shore. The association of this place with the colonial era in India is another reason behind its immense fame. People from all over India and abroad, travel to this place for exploring its natural, religious and historical aspect.
After breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Nainital - Visit Snow View Peak, at an altitude of 2270 m, situated on top of the Sher-ka-danda ridge. A ropeway or cable car ride is the best-known way to access the snow viewpoint. Also visit Naini Peak, also known as Cheena Peak. Later, visit Dorothyβs Seat, which provides picture perfect views of Nainital and its surrounding regions. Then proceed to Land's End, to enjoy spectacular views of Khurpatal and its surroundings.
After completing all the formalities, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kausani β the next destination. The drive is a scenic one through the winding roads, with views of rolling hills, mountain streams and dense vegetation. On the way, you can visit Chaubatia and Kalika in Ranikhet. The former of these is a ridge known for its botanical garden and apple orchards, whereas the latter houses a sprawling golf course and a Hindu temple. After exploring these two places, continue the journey to Kausani, a place known for its scenic splendour.
Kausani is a picturesque hill station, tucked away in the mountainous district of Bageshwar. This tiny hamlet is widely recognised for its pristine natural beauty and, most importantly, the sweeping panorama of the Himalayan ranges, painted in different hues of the sun. It was even referred to as the 'Switzerland of India' by Mahatma Gandhi, during his brief stay in the hill station.
Situated just a few kilometres away from the hill station, Baijnath is a small hamlet known for its conglomeration of ancient temples. The most significant shrine in this group is the Baijnath Temple β dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati. Constructed somewhere in the 12th century, this temple was built under the patronage of the regional Katyuri kings and is made of stone. The next place to explore is Kausani Tea Estate, where the local Girias tea is grown, processed and then exported to various countries. You can take a walk through the green contours of these plantations and know about the entire process of producing tea.
Ranikhet is a beautiful hill station, nestled in the lap of mountains and within the sight of the Western Himalayas. It was used as a summer retreat by the British during the colonial era. Spread across two high ridges, this hilly cantonment is blessed with nature's bounties in abundance. Temples, colonial establishments and fruit orchards are the main attractions in this beautiful Kumaoni destination of Uttarakhand.
in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district, the park has a population of 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. It is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularized this land and its animals in his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon".

Post lunch in the afternoon, visit Garjiya Devi Temple and Corbett Museum. The Corbett Museum is the place where the hunts, hunting equipments and many other articles of E. James Corbett are preserved. It was originally the home of Jim Corbet
